Find Sanctuary in Blackburn

A Collection of Luxury One, Two & Three Bedroom Apartments - Now Selling

Paul Martino and Stephen Leah bring an extensive amount of local knowledge to Morton Park, starting with the fact that their firm, Martino Leah, was founded right here in Melbourne. Specialising in innovative residential projects, the duo created Morton Park in respectful response to its situ and in pursuit of positively contributing to its already rich surroundings.

Managing both Morton Park’s architecture and interior design, Martino Leah implemented sensational consideration into each inch of the building which enhances its occupants’ lives first and foremost through the offering generous floor plans. Apartments are orientated to maximise light while storage is conscientiously incorporated, with ample space to tuck away goods through the kitchen, the study nook and storage closet upon entry.

Morton Park’s facade is defined through colour and contrast. Sizeable, raw elements make up the structure, including precast arches that line the ground floor. This distinctive pattern of arches is an interpretation of classic shapes, and at Morton Park, signals the commercial and retail elements, allowing the public to travel in and out seamlessly.

While dark tones define the ground floor, lighter coloured materials make up the upper levels. Brickwork forms part of the first floor, echoing the post-war brick houses in Blackburn. Travelling further up the facade, a series of white batons that turn into interactive screens group the building’s residential floors. Residents are given control, with the ability to open and close these screens as they please for aesthetic, natural lighting and climate control preferences, animating the exterior as a result.

“Classic architectural forms, refined finishes and a focus on detail make up Morton Park.”

- Stephen Leah, Director at Martino Leah

The nature of Morton Park’s contrasting exterior is honoured in the apartments’ interior colour palettes. Much like the facade, the dark scheme kitchen is broken up into two main tones, grounded in a dark veneer while white two-pack finished joinery sits above.

Open plan design and allocated space for kitchen bench seating encourages dialogue between each residence’s occupants, truly making Morton Park into a home.

Bathrooms are elegantly founded on a neutral palette and high quality finishes. An open shower enables seamless transitions through the setting, a theme translating from the ground floor’s feature arches which give way to Morton Park’s retail areas.

Cohesive and charmingly designed, Morton Park welcomes a new era of modern living to Blackburn.
